Born on 14 April 1959 in Quba district, Azerbaijan. In 1975 entered Physical faculty of the Azerbaijan State University. Graduated from the University in 1980 and continued his study as PhD in A.F.Ioffe Physical Technical Institution (Russia). In 1988 got the degree of PhD in physical-mathematical sciences. Got his doctoral degree in 2006 for the thesis “The adsorption and catalytic processes on the surface of solid with valent saturated surface”. Works at Baku State University at the faculty of Physics since 1990. His curriculum includes general physics course (mechanics, molecular physics, electromagnetism, optics, atomic physics), methodology of teaching physics, electrodynamics of solid matter. His present research interests include adsorption, desorption and migration of metal atoms (Pt, Ni, Ba, Th and others) with CsCl molecules on the surface of two dimensional graphite film. His recent studies are in assessment of knowledge of students at high schools and application of interactive methodology of teaching and new information technologies to learning of Physics in Azerbaijan. He has made some initial steps to create his web-page www.nasrullayev.com for e-learning of students studying physics. In this web-page students can read textbooks interactively and use them in their research freely in native language.

He is a Member of American Chemical Society, USA; Chairman of Azerbaijan Section of Euro Science; Member of IBC Cambridge, England.
