Biography:

• Belongs to 1991 Batch of “Indian Telecommunication Service” (I.T.S) .

• B. Tech (Electronics & Communication Engg.) from College of Engineering, Trivandrum in 1988 .

• M. Tech (Microwave & Optical Communication Engg.) from IIT, Kharagpur in 1990.

• Ph.D in Microwave Engineering from Cochin University of science & Technology, (CUSAT), Kochi on thesis “ Ultra Wide Band (UWB) Antennas ” in 2009.

• Studied at International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus University, Hague , Netherlands for a course on “Governance, Democratization and Public Policy” as a part of Govt. of India Foreign Training Programme for Cadre Service Officers on deputation.

• Senior Fellow of “Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP)” of DRDO.

• Worked for 3 years as Scientist (1990-93) in DRDO Missile Laboratory, Research Centre Imarat (RCI), Hyderabad. Worked at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore on DRDO collaborative project on “Fiber Optic Gyroscope for Guided Missiles”.

• On Joining the Cadre Service of “Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS)” got posted at various places in DoT and BSNL as DGM Trichur, Addl. GM, BSNL, Coimbatore. Worked in various Telecom Technology areas like Digital Switching, OF Networks, OFAN, Broad Band Internet, GPON, 2G, 3G , 4G Mobile, CDMA etc..

• Recipient of “Vishisht Sanchar Seva Medal” of BSNL for the year 2005.

• Worked in FCI on deputation for 5 years as General Manager in-charge of all five Southern States & UT under FCI South Zone for Engineering, Vigilance, IT, Operational Losses/PV Stocks, QC and Security.

• Worked for 3 years as Director, DoT in charge of CMS for Tamilnadu LSA (TN state and UT Puducherry) and 7 Months as General Manager, BSNL, Palakkad .

• Presently working as Principal General Manager, BSNL, Ernakulam in charge of Kochi city, Ernakulam , Idukki districts and Lakshadweep Islands since May 2018.
